Modern Combat 3: Fallen NationEdit
|Effect||Reduces damage of attacks from behind|
|Effect||Reduces damage of attacks from behind and damage from explosions|
It helps protect the player from attacks from behind, where their vulnerability is high due to zero visibility.
The Shield was introduced in game update version 1.3.0, which was released on June 7, 2012. This update was only released for iOS, and is not available on other platforms.
The Normal Edition of this equipment reduces the damage of bullets the player being shot receives, therefore reducing the amount of shots kill the person being fired upon. The Shield can protect the user from a point-blank Roar 3000 shot, a knife and an Intercept-L200 with FMJ bodyshot. This only works from behind, running into a grenade or heavy enemy fire will not save the player from harm.
Shield Elite Edit
The Elite Edition of this equipment does all that the Normal Edition does, but also provides the player with all-around protection from explosives, whether it be from a Rampage-4, ZXD, incendiary grenade, sticky grenade, frag grenade, etc.
