Sergeant Ross is only seen in the mission To the Summit Pt. 1 armed with a stock MN106. As Newman navigates the trenches after the minefield, he turns a corner and sees Ross backed into a corner by two enemy soldiers, one with an AK47 and the other with an M249. Before Newman can do anything, Ross is shot dead.
