Turner's death
Gibbing is a mechanic used in many popular video games and in real-life. The mechanic was introduced in Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation and reappeared in Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour.

Overview Edit

Gibbing is when a body part of a person is torn off. In Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation, the arms and the legs can be torn off. In Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, decapitating heads were introduced, and a layer of blood was added to the fallen body part, in an effort to make it more realistic. These parts can only be torn off if the soldier is killed.

Gibbing is activated in both campaign and multiplayer when gore is turned on.

Gibbing can be deactivated if the player turns off gore, a setting found in the settings menu for both games.
