The DBS 4 is a shotgun in Modern Combat 5: Blackout. It was added to the game in the June 2015 update.

The DBS 4 is the Tier 7 weapon unlocked in the Heavy class. It is a single-action shotgun with a 4 round capacity which deals massive damage up close, more than capable of downing most enemies in a single well-placed shot if all pellets connect.
The DBS 4 also possesses a very fast fire rate, capable of unleashing 4 shells in rapid succession. Another area the weapon shines is in its decent effectives even at mid-range. The DBS also possesses decent mobility and handling characteristics.
Downsides to the DBS 4 are its paltry 4 round capacity, the second lowest of any shotgun, making accurate fire mandatory to ensure success, as well its slow reload time, which can prove deadly if the player runs out of ammo in the middle of a firefight. These traits make the weapon more viable for solo or "hit and run" engagements than for engaging groups of enemies at once. When the player aims and shoots with the iron-sightings, the shotgun's recoil pushes to the left side and can be very hard to aim with.
Overall, the DBS 4 is quite a unique weapon in the shotgun class. It is a difficult weapon to master and, like the LSN-25B, can be considered a "high risk, high reward" weapon, making it less popular among players than less risky choices such as the Sering 9 or the Buckshot. However, in the hands of a player capable of mastering it, it can be a very deadly option.
