Campaign[]

The OPS55 is the main primary weapon for much of the KPR forces, especially later in the game. The gun can be found in the missions Hostile Territories, Cold-Blooded, Chaos Factory, and Martyrdom. The OPS55 is found both without attachments and, in later missions, with an ACOG Scope attached.

Multiplayer[]

The OPS55 is a relatively frequently used weapon online that is unlocked at Rank 24. The OPS55 is a fairly balanced gun for it possesses clear iron sights, very little recoil, a large 30 round magazine, a fast rate of fire and good damage. Because of the reasonably clear iron sights, optics on this gun are a questionable choice. A Suppressor can make the OPS55 a great stealth weapon, and the Extended magazine attachment gives the weapon a whopping 45 rounds for longer firefights.

+
  • Highest damage of all submachine guns
  • Clear iron sights
  • Good mobility and handling
  • Cheap price
  • Fast reload
  • Very high rate of fire
  • Short effective range
  • Omnidirectional recoil

Trivia[]

  • The grip is not visible in the HUD icon.
  • On the side of the OPS55, it has the KPR symbol, just like the KT-44.
  • It's the predecessor of the OPS65 in Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour.
  • When picked up, this weapon will always have 20 rounds in the magazine instead of 30, like the TXR-Reaper.
