The Fers09 is the Tier 4 submachine gun of the Recon class. The weapon features a colossal rate of fire, one of the highest in the game, second only to the initial burst of the FS80. The Fers09 also has superior hip-fire accuracy compared to many other SMGs; combined with its fierce rate of fire and large magazine, and fast reload speed, the Fers09 is capable of dishing out volleys of bullets in a short amount of time.

Downsides to the Fers09 are its fairly low damage, on par with the Jolt-7 MP, requiring about 5 shots to kill at close range (however its decent armor penetration makes it a more viable choice than lower-tier SMGs against heavily armored opponents). Its damage drop-off is significant, and it is unable to equip a grip to improve accuracy, making it largely outclassed at mid-long range. For this reason, users will primarily want to stick to close-quarters engagements to ensure maximum effectiveness.
