Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation[]
Sacrifice[]
Following the initial KPR invasion of America, Carter's AC-130 crew was scrambled to Los Angeles, as KPR forces made massive gains in the opening hours of the invasion. Tasked with destroying the bridges across the city to delay the enemy advance, Carter's crew provided valuable fire support towards the Delta fireteams as they rigged explosives across the bridge. As 3rd Platoon successfully completed their objectives in destroying the bridges, Carter's AC-130 crew was initially tasked with hunting down KPR stragglers, however, Captain Turner and his company requested air support at the Morningstar Bridge. As KPR reinforcements arrived on the bridge to prevent its demolition, Carter's skilful gunnery proved tantamount in allowing Turner and his squad to escape the bridge.
Having completed its objectives, Carter's crew was subsequently tasked with eliminating remaining KPR forces before returning to base.
Raging Bird[]
“ Hang on Carter, we're almost there. „ —Sergeant Downs after Carter's helicopter crashed.
On Day 15, Carter was deployed into Gurdal, Pakistan alongside Phantom Unit, as the United States sought to desperately prevent another major attack on domestic soil. Launching an unsanctioned military invasion into Pakistan, Carter was tasked with providing air support to Bravo 1. Operating on an Blackhawk helicopter, Carter once again proved tantamount in allowing American forces to make steady gains in the region. However, as Carter eliminated the last remaining Al-Akrab outposts, an anti-air unit successfully brought down Carter's helicopter. Al-Akrab forces killed the surviving crew and Carter was unable to resist, resulting in his incapacitation. Despite this, Phantom Unit was narrowly able to rescue him, and Carter was brought back to the United States for recovery.

Trivia[]
- Downs reports that there were no survivors from the helicopter crash, but Carter survives. It is possible that he only blacked out after "Raging Bird" or the MC4 Carter is a relative of his.
- This is the first time that Carter has ever had a speaking role in MC4.
