The Bramson is the Tier 7 weapon of Recon class. It features the one of the highest damage outputs in its class, good accuracy, and a high rate of fire. It is one of the most effective weapons in the game at close-range combat, with a time-to-kill comparable to the KOG V. The Bramson also features excellent accuracy and is capable of equipping a grip. Its default magazine capacity is 35 rounds, which can be upgraded up to 45 rounds with an extended magaine..
Drawbacks to the Bramson include its significant damage drop-off at longer ranges, with a an effective range only higher than that of the Sabre-S2, Krube-37, and the Firecracker, Its reload speed is also a slightly longer than that of other SMGs (utilizing a drum magazine like that of weapons such as the AX-100 Mk II).
The Bramson, along with the Bosk 3 and the Whisperer or Firecracker, are often considered the top-tier weapons of the Recon class due to their solid damage and rate of fire, leading to an overall fast time-to-kill. These weapons require only 3 shots to kill an opponent (compared to the 4-8 of other SMGs), and likewise, the Bramson and the Firecracker feature a ROF comparable to the KOG V, making them unrivaled in close-quarters combat except by the PR39 or shotguns.
Comparison with Bosk 3Edit
Compared to the Bosk 3, the Bramson will mostly outgun it, though the Bramson does have lower mobility than the Bosk 3, and is arguably is less effective in mid-long range firefights due to its omni-directional kick similar to that of the Krube-37. Overall the Bramson is superior in close-quarters gunfights, while the Bosk 3 may be more effective in mid-range engagements. However either weapon can be a very competitive choice if used correctly.
